Mrs. Robinson hasn’t seen so much enthusiasm in her son’s eyes in such a long time, especially when it came to marriage. Vanessa knew her son too well to doubt his intentions to get married.

The woman never knew her mother because she died during childbirth. There were virtually no prospects in her hometown for Judy so she decided to move to the city of her dreams, New York.

Needless to say, the question asked by the tipsy birthday woman caused quite a stir among the guests. Judy’s eyes welled up with tears which immediately started running down her cheeks that were blushing with shame.

The poor woman couldn’t even comprehend how or why her mother-in-law would ask her something like that. Unable to stop crying, Judy took Spencer by the hand and left the celebration which Vanessa had turned into a farce with her baseless accusations.

At about that time the woman of the day started feeling remorse for what she had done, but it was already too late. Meanwhile the guests realized that the festivities had come to an end and started getting ready to go home.

Vanessa Robinson was left alone with the bitter aftertaste caused by her unseemly behavior during the celebration. Sure, Vanessa tried calling her son to apologize for everything that had happened, but his cell phone was already turned off.

“I don’t believe a single word you said at the party mom,” her son said trembling with tension.

In response to this, Vanessa Robinson simply shook her head and told her son everything she had learned about Judy at the clinic.

“It’s all lies mom, there’s a lot you don’t know. Judy saved me. I was living a wild life back then so one night I got so drunk that I nearly died of hypothermia. Tons of people passed by me and Judy was the only one who decided to help,” Spencer said stammering on every word.

Looking into her son’s feverishly burning eyes, Mrs. Robinson realized that he was telling the truth. At that moment Vanessa’s mind seemed to have finally cleared up and she finally realized how wrong she was in her opinion of her daughter-in-law.

As it turned out it was Judy Morgan who pulled her son out of the wildlife he’d been living during his college years. At the same time the woman wasn’t at all eager to marry Spencer and wanted only one thing: to help him and protect him from making terrible mistakes.

Their romantic relationship started much later when Spencer finally gave up alcohol and looked at Judy in a completely different light.
