“When Traveling By Plane For The First Time, A Lady Faints Upon Seeing The Flight Attendant! “
A Dream Takes Flight
A woman fulfills her dream and travels for the first time on a plane without imagining that one of the stewardesses was her lost daughter whom she had seen for over 25 years. Elizabeth was at the busy LAX, anxious and with trembling hands.
She had never traveled by plane before, and the size of the planes outside amazed her. Looking up at the imposing aircraft, she whispered to herself, overwhelmed by the sight she had never thought she would see.
“My God, how is it possible that something so big can fly?”
Excitement overwhelmed her as she imagined what it would be like to fly high in the sky. Her trip had a special purpose: Elizabeth was going to visit her brother and nephews in New York.
A Call to New York
It had been many years since she had last seen them, as her brother had moved to another state about 10 years before. Her brother was a businessman, and his lack of time made it difficult for them to visit each other more often.
But now, as Elizabeth got older, she feared losing the bond with her nephews who were already in their 20s. While she was waiting to board, Elizabeth received a call from her brother who wanted to know what time she would be arriving.
“Ah, Henry, my brother, look what I’m doing, flying on a big plane like this just to visit you in New York. You better make it up to me with a really good meal, okay?” she said with a touch of humor.
Henry laughed and asked, “Have you boarded yet?”
“Not yet, but I’ll be arriving in the evening,” she replied with a touch of unease in her voice.
Whispers of Memory
While the conversation with her brother continued, Elizabeth went to a cafe in the airport. She observed the people around her, the travelers, and the constant movement.
Her excitement and fear grew as she imagined what awaited her on that plane. Her trembling hands showed that she was much more nervous than she had expected.
In the middle of the busy cafe, a scene took her by surprise: a little girl about 5 years old walked past her with a small airplane toy in her hands. The woman’s gaze was fixed on the child, and she let herself be carried away by a deep and emotional thought.
“When you were little, you also wanted to fly, didn’t you, my daughter?”
For a moment, it seemed as if a tear would fall down her face.
“I wish, I wish you were here with me,” she thought.
She was referring to her daughter whom she lost more than 25 years before, a loss that still haunted her. It was then that a soft voice interrupted her thoughts.
“Passengers on flight 2795, please report to boarding gate A,”
Boarding the Metal Giant
Finally, it was time to board and Elizabeth stood up, her heart racing, not knowing what unimaginable surprises awaited her on board that plane. After entering the metal giant and finding her seat, the woman settled down and felt the tension growing inside her.
Sitting in her seat, she looked around, trying to find peace. She thought to herself,
“I’m here. I’m finally here, and everything will be all right,” as if she was trying to reassure herself, even though she could feel the uneasiness settling in.
The flight attendant began instructing the safety procedures. Elizabeth watched intently as the stewardess in front of her explained the information.
The young stewardess seemed so confident that the aircraft was safe, and something in her eyes conveyed trust.
“She must fly every day, right?” she thought.
“So the plane must be reliable; it’s not going to crash,” she tried to convince herself that she was in good hands, even though her heart was pounding and the tension was still there.
The Journey Begins
When the plane finally took off, Elizabeth clung to the seat, feeling the aircraft accelerate and the initial turbulence. She was clearly tense.
She tried to relax, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. But as soon as she saw the clouds and the city below, she realized how spectacular the view was.
“Jesus, it’s really splendid,” she whispered softly, impressed by the beauty that stretched out before her.
A Kind Presence
As soon as the plane was stable, the flight attendants started the in-flight service, offering drinks and snacks. The stewardess in charge of Elizabeth’s row approached with a friendly smile.
The woman asked for a cup of tea and watched the young woman as she prepared the drink. There was something about that stewardess that made her feel comfortable and safe, as if she were a familiar presence.
When she looked into the woman’s eyes, Elizabeth found her incredibly beautiful, and it reminded her of her own youth. She couldn’t help but compliment her warmly.
“You have a beautiful smile, my dear,”
The stewardess returned the compliment with an equally radiant smile.
“Oh, thank you so much! You have a beautiful smile too,”
They soon established a genuine connection, sharing a moment of complicity. At that moment, the pilot announced that there might be some turbulence, but assured them that the journey would be smooth.
The woman’s expression changed immediately; uneasiness took hold of her.
“Is this your first time on a plane?” the flight attendant realized that Elizabeth was scared and asked with empathy.
“Yes, dear. I’ve never been on a plane before. I’m scared to death, I confess,” she admitted, laughing to try to dispel her growing fear.
“Don’t worry. I fly every day, but I assure you that it’s incredible if you allow yourself to feel the experience of flying through the skies, through the clouds,” the stewardess assured with a smile.
For the woman, there was something special about that young woman; the confidence she conveyed made her feel lighter.
“You’re in great hands, okay? Oh, and the pilot is my husband,” the young woman whispered in Elizabeth’s ear, making her laugh and calming her down even more.
The Storm Within
The woman started to enjoy the trip. The flight continued, and everything seemed to be going well.
She was calmer, and the stewardesses moved around attending to the passengers. It would be a few hours until they arrived in New York, and Elizabeth was trying to enjoy the experience.
She chatted with the passenger across the aisle, enjoyed the meals served on board, and was generally feeling good. However, sometime later, the plane hit turbulence.
It was a sudden and unexpected turbulence that made the woman panic. She began to cry and gasp, clinging to the seat.
“We’re going to die! The plane is going to crash!” she cried in despair.
Elizabeth closed her eyes tightly, fearing the worst. Seeing the woman’s desperate state, the stewardess rushed over to calm her down.
The young woman compassionately held her hand and tried to reassure her, explaining that turbulence was common and that the plane was safe even if it was shaking like that.
“It’s okay. We’re not going to fall, okay? You can rest easy,”
